The silver fern is a tree fern that is endemic to New Zealand.  It is seen as symbol of New Zealand both internationally and by local New Zealanders.  It is something that I am very fond of as it made me feel so proud of our country when I was living abroad. These earrings are a true symbol of our beautiful natural country.
